NailQuit – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AppsHeroes, a simplified joint-stock company (SASU) registered in France ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the NailQuit mobile application ("App").
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the App's features.
a) Purchase data
When you make an in-app purchase or subscribe to a premium plan, the transaction is processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details directly. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify subscription status. RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous user identifier and purchase metadata to confirm entitlement.
b) Analytics data
We use Amplitude to collect anonymized usage data, including:
- Features used and screens visited
- Session frequency and duration
- In-app events (e.g., streak milestones, relapse logs)
This data is collected in an aggregated and pseudonymous form. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information unless you explicitly provide it.
c) Device data
Amplitude and RevenueCat may automatically collect limited device information, such as:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Country (derived from IP address, not stored)
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the data collected to:
- Verify and manage your subscription status (RevenueCat)
- Understand how users interact with the App to improve it (Amplitude)
- Diagnose technical issues and improve performance
We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your data to any third party.
3. Third-Party Services
NailQuit integrates the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) — subscription management

These services process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to use it only for the purposes described above.
4. Data Retention
Analytics data collected by Amplitude is retained according to Amplitude's data retention policies. Purchase data managed by RevenueCat is retained as long as necessary to maintain your subscription status.
We do not maintain a separate database of user profiles.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- The right to access the data we hold about you
- The right to request correction or deletion of your data
- The right to object to or restrict processing
- The right to data portability

6. Data Transfers
Your data may be processed by RevenueCat and Amplitude on servers located outside of France or the European Union. Both services comply with applicable data transfer regulations, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
7. Children's Privacy
NailQuit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
