Privacy policy

This policy describes the Finger Skate for Mac application (the “App”), published by Antoine Gaia under the AppsHeroes name. Contact: contact@appsheroes.app.

1. In short

The App collects no data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet. Nothing you do in the App is sent to us or to anyone else.

2. What stays on your Mac

The App stores your settings, coins, unlocked board designs, scores, and the text you choose to print on your board, on your Mac. If you print a picture on your board, the App keeps a copy of the picture you selected in its own folder on your Mac. You choose that picture yourself in the standard macOS file picker; the App cannot read your other files.

Your Mac’s backups (such as Time Machine) may include this data, depending on your settings. Deleting the App and its data removes it from your Mac.

3. Trackpad and windows

To play, the App reads your finger positions on the trackpad while skate mode is on. To turn your windows into rails, it reads the position and size of the windows open on your screen, never their content. This information is used live to run the game, is not stored, and never leaves your Mac.

4. Purchases

Apple processes the purchase of the App on the Mac App Store. We do not receive your payment details. See Apple’s App Store privacy information.

5. Support

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you attach, and use them only to answer you. We keep that correspondence as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete it.

6. Your rights

Since the App collects no personal data, we hold none about you, apart from any support emails you send. Depending on applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete that correspondence at contact@appsheroes.app. You may also complain to your local data protection authority; in France, this is the CNIL.

7. Children and updates

The App is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children. We may update this policy as the App changes; the date above identifies the latest revision, and additional notice will be provided where required.
